The LPO's annual Concerto Competition was held Sunday, October 30 at Tulane University. Three winners were selected by a panel of LPO musicians.

Jennifer Tu, a senior at Benjamin Franklin High School will be performing Chopin's Concerto No. 2 in F minor, 1st movement, on piano.

Georgia Bourderionnet, a sophomore at Benjamin Franklin High School will be performing Honegger's Cello Concerto.

Joyce Zhao, a fourth grader at Lusher Charter School will perform deBeriot's Scene de Ballet on her violin.

These students will be performing at the LPO's Young People's Concerts in January. Congratulations!

Brian King, sophomore at Haynes/NOCCA performed Vivaldi's Concerto in D Major on his guitar and Haeun Kim, fifth grader from Rock Quarry Elementary in Tuscaloosa, AL performed Kabalevsky's Violin Concerto.
