Join us for what is sure to be a spectacular performance of Mozart’s only oboe concerto, performed by the LPO’s own Jaren Philleo. Philleo, the LPO’s principal oboist, has been a featured soloist with orchestras such at the Washington Chamber Symphony and Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra. Also on the program is Stravinsky’s Petrushka, a full-length ballet that follows the story of three puppets.

The concert will begin with the Haitian national anthem. Cash, check and credit card donations to assist the Red Cross’ relief effort will be accepted before the concert and during intermission. Checks should be made out to the American Red Cross, with “Haiti” in the memo.
